Prior to the Apostille of Board Resolution from Ministry of external Affairs (MEA), New Delhi the Board Resolution must be attested from the Chambers of Commerce in India. It is not mandatory to attest the Board Resolution from the respective State’s Chambers of Commerce. The Board Resolution could be attested from any Chambers of Commerce across the India prior to Apostille. The Board Resolution generally attested from the concerned Chambers of Commerce from where the concerned Company is the Member and registered with. It is also important that the Board Resolution must be attested from Notary before Apostille from Ministry of External Affairs, (MEA).
Please be informed that some HCC Countries further require the Embassy Legalization of the Board Resolution after the Apostille of the Board Resolution from Ministry of external Affairs (MEA), New Delhi. In this case, firstly the Board Resolution will be attested from the Chambers of Commerce, after that the Board Resolution will be Apostilled from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi and finally the Board Resolution will be legalized by the concerned country’s Embassy or Consulate present in India.
The time frame to complete the Board Resolution Apostille from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi could be completed within three working days. But the legalization of the Board Resolution from the Embassy or Consulate could take some more time and it depends on the concerned Embassy’s or Consulate’s internal policy.
