Prior to the Apostille of Commercial Invoice from Ministry of external Affairs (MEA), New Delhi the Commercial Invoice must be attested from the Chambers of Commerce in India. It is not mandatory to attest the Commercial Invoice from the respective State’s Chambers of Commerce. The Commercial Invoice could be attested from any Chambers of Commerce across the India prior to Apostille. The Commercial Invoice generally attested from the concerned Chambers of Commerce from where the concerned Company is the Member and registered with. It is also important that the Commercial Invoice must be attested from Notary before Apostille from Ministry of External Affairs, (MEA). 

Please be informed that some HCC Countries further require the Embassy Legalization of the Commercial Invoice after the Apostille of the Commercial Invoice from Ministry of external Affairs (MEA), New Delhi. In this case, firstly the Commercial Invoice will be attested from the Chambers of Commerce, after that the Commercial Invoice will be Apostilled from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi and finally the Commercial Invoice will be legalized by the concerned country’s Embassy or Consulate present in India. 

The time frame to complete the Commercial Invoice Apostille from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi could be completed within three working days. But the legalization of the Commercial Invoice from the Embassy or Consulate could take some more time and it depends on the concerned Embassy’s or Consulate’s internal policy.
